MATH
In Math class, we are learning about stock investments. We get fake money and we buy and sell stocks. I think it’s very fun. Everyday the prices go up and down. If I could change one thing, I’d make it so that we wouldn’t get any homework.

SCIENCE
To me, Science is the hardest subject. Right now we are being introduced to physics. We’ll be learning more about it later in eighth grade. If I could change something… I’d reduce the amount of work we are doing.

ENGLISH
In English, we are reading this book called THE GIVER. We read a couple of chapters, then we take tests and quizzes. We’re not quite done with the book, but it’s getting very exciting as we get close to the end. I wouldn’t want to change a thing in English class.

SOCIAL STUDIES
Right now in Social Studies, we are receiving a tremendous amount of homework, but it will all be useful in the future. We are learning how to make outlines, circle graphs, and time lines. Social Studies is kind of fun. If I could change one thing, I’d get rid of all homework.

P.E.
In P.E. we are learning basketball right now. Each quarter we learn two different kind of sports. First quarter, I learned football and volleyball. Second quarter, I learned badminton and rugby. Third quarter, I learned soccer and soon I will be learning Softball. P.E. is very fun. I don’t want to change a thing in P.E.

COMPUTER
Right now in computer we are making our own blogs. It’s kind of fun. Sometimes, there are contests and we win prizes. I like the way things are going and I don’t really want to change anything.

This was the first picture that we put.

It was very easy to put pictures on our blog. You can put any picture you want as long as it’s not copyright. To take a picture from another site, you have to right click on the pictuer and press “save as..”. Then upload the picture. You can can choose if you want the size to be thumbnail or original.

Presentation is just another word for theme. In this case..the difference is not that big…. presentation is the place you go into and theme is like the backround…. you choose the theme by going into presentation. The difference between each theme is in some of them, there is no site admin/log in. There is also a change in the categories and font. To change a theme you simply go to site admin and press presentation… there, you can choose different kinds of themes. My theme is called Ocadia 1.1. I like it because it is very organized and I like the colors~

Today, we continued learning about WordPress. I learned that we can make links. Links enable us to go to other blogs more quickly. We can also categorize the links. That’s what we did before making any links. To make a link you have to put the URL and then you just put the name of the link. Today, we made links to all our classmates.

Today i learned the following things in WordPress:

• I learned that you can delete or edit a post by going to Manage.
• I learned that you can make categories (categories are kind of like folders to file posts.)
• I learned that you can go to GateKeeper and make challenges (challenges are questions asked to people trying to write a comment. They should be obvious to everybody and it’s main reason is to stop spam)
• I learned how to approve or delete comments. (We have to be very careful when deleting comments so that we don’t delete the wrong one.)
• I also learned that you can comment the person that commented you.

• I learned how to change my tagline (which is the description of my blog)
• I learned how to change my password
• I learned that I change your blog title
• I learned that I can stop people from putting ugly comments on my blog
• I learned how to change the time zone difference
• I learned the difference between ordered lists and unordered lists
